Tunnel Curing Oven

A reasonable heat ventilation system design makes air circulation perfectly balanced and keeps the furnace temperature stable throughout the curing process. With our gas burner configuration, 100% of the heat flows directly into the furnace, ensuring high efficiency with absolutely no waste.

 

Tunnel ovens can be built directly on the ground, which is relatively cheaper than bridge curing ovens, but their thermal insulation is relatively weak due to heat conversion at the openings. This design is more suitable for long workpieces rather than wide workpieces. If the tunnel door is too wide, the air curtain will not be strong enough for heat conversion, which will cause heat loss, slowing down the oven heating speed and increasing energy bills. However, if you choose the power and free conveyor system, the tunnel oven will be suitable for complex production paths where workpieces can be accumulated, stopped, or bypassed within the oven, maximizing the versatility of your curing cycle.

Type2: Bridge Curing Ovens

Bridge Curing Ovens

The bridge oven is installed on elevated metal frames with the burner chamber situated directly beneath the oven. This smart configuration saves significant floor space, allowing personnel and products to be transported underneath the structure, which helps in saving manual labor and optimizing factory flow.

The bridge oven is highly versatile and suitable for most products, whether they are long or wide. Its unique elevated structure features a perfectly functional design for heat insulation; because the oven is raised, the hot air remains trapped in the top area and does not easily mix with the cold air outside. This natural heat pocket significantly reduces energy consumption compared to ground-level designs. However, there are technical considerations: when using a bridge curing oven, longer workpieces require a larger turning radius for the conveyor. Additionally, for taller workpieces, the conveying track must be positioned relatively high off the ground, which increases design complexity and construction costs.

Type3: Box Curing Ovens

Box-Type Curing Ovens (Batch Curing Ovens)

The box-type oven, commonly known as a batch curing oven, is usually designed for a manual powder coating line or a slide-in track line system. It offers a compact and cost-effective solution for facilities that handle custom batches or varying production schedules.

 

The construction of the oven is built for durability and heat retention; both the interior and exterior are made of 0.6mm galvanized plates, with a high-density 150mm rock wool board in the middle to provide superior thermal insulation. While the system is often used for manual operations, the conveyor chain can be semi-automated and functions independently of the slide-in track, providing a flexible workflow that balances mechanical assistance with manual control.

Temperature Control System

Our advanced control architecture is engineered for both safety and precision:

  • Triple-Layer Monitoring: The system is composed of a dedicated temperature measurement system, a digital control interface, and an integrated over-temperature alarm system for maximum safety.

  • Automated Regulation: Utilizing high-precision sensors, digital temperature controllers, and AC contactor control devices, the system automatically manages the entire heating cycle.

  • Smart Feedback: The oven tunnel control system processes signals from the temperature sensors and compares them against your set values. It then issues output commands to regulate the heater’s state, ensuring stable temperature maintenance and clear digital display.

Hot Air Circulation Fan & Ductwork

To eliminate cold spots and ensure a uniform cure, we utilize a high-performance air management system:

  • Balanced Air Distribution: Circulating hot air is forced into the drying channel through a powerful fan. The air is then evenly distributed via air outlet pipes equipped with adjustable dampers to ensure perfect air supply uniformity.

  • Premium Construction: All hot air circulation ducts are internally arranged within the passage. For long-term durability, the air supply ducts and outlets are manufactured from 1.0mm galvanized sheets.

  • Optimized Airflow Mode: Our ovens utilize a bottom air supply and upper air return circulation mode. This “bottom-up” flow ensures that heat naturally rises through the workpieces, providing the most efficient and consistent thermal transfer possible.
